please help with info on sub and amp

Ive got a 4500w ssw starsound sub and a 4400w starsound monoblock amp can these two work or is the amp too small??? Because my amp gets really hot even only after playing it 15min on 75%.

no idea what brand that is, but what are they rated for RMS wise each? just try to get an amp with an output matching the power which the sub can handle

hi ive got a mono block ssa-ca1-4400 running at two ohms and it doesnt even get warm and im running two alpine type r subs ,the sub you using should be fine on your amp
