Please Help me spec this amp.

Please Help.

I need to know how to size the amp for these subs.

ALUM10X

Quantity:3

800 watt RMS with 6 Ohm DVC's

Will be wired to get a 1 ohm load.

Do I need an amp that will Match the Combined RMS of 2400Watts? Should I go Half? Can Anyone recomend an Amplifier, or at least tell me it the Audiobahn A1500HCX will do the job?

the audiobahn amp will do the job, but i have heard that some people have problems with the amp. you can save some money and go with a jbl bp-1200.1 and it will easily power all the subs.

first of all i would recomend giving those speakers as close to 800 watts rms as possible....i dontknow what amp to use im not all that well versed in how to wire them or you can buy a seperate amp for each....that would be a little more expensive but its up to you....

im not too sure about the problems but i was looking through some customer feedback about products on any electornics page a a few people said sumthing about the amp messing up and cuseing the speakers to blow, but im not sure if that was user error or a mechanical problem, but i do know that the jbl is really good. and it puts out about 1384 rms watts at 1 ohm
