Playing subs at indoor car shows???

My cousin plans on putting his trunk in the Detroit Dub Show this year and wants to show off his set up. I have been to plenty of car shows and noticed most of the guys have some type of extra wires running to their car (im assuming to get voltage up) What is exactly done at indoor car shows so that you can play your music without KILLING your batteries.

BTW for anyone who is wondering his set up is 3 12" Rockford T2's in a wall w/ a rockford 2000bd amp and 4 sets of infiniti kappa components on that big *** rockford 4 channel (cant remember the model # on it) Also has 200 amp Alt yellow top under the hood and i believe he will be buying 2 Kinetik batteries real soon...

i don't see how hes going to get in the door with 2000 watts though.. even if its more like 2500.. he better have a nice looking setup cuz it won't have a whole lot of bump.. im sure its got a good amount but not too much

they have to run there power connected to an 110v outlet cars inside the show can not have the battery runnig there car.i had to run an extension cord from my car to the 1 of the arenas power outlet in the dub show in houston

Its the DUB show not a sound off. He's not going to win best sound system on nothin like that just wanna show off his set up thats all...

Agreed, tis a power supply. I ran one on my car for CES. 55amp supply with 3300rms did the trick. Obviously the demos were less than 5 minutes long and it had time to charge the batts in between
