Planned install - Opinions / Suggestions

Planning this install in my 02 Dakota ext cab this summer after I finish up the deadening in it.

HU: Alpine CDA-9827 (cause I already own)

Tweets in pilars

6 1/2" in fiberglass kicks: Rockford Fosgate ComponentT162S

8" Midbass in doors: Kicker SSMB8

Subs: 2x Rockford Fosgate T110D2

All amps are the new RF mini power amps due out next month.

Amps:

Powering component set: T600-4 (100x4 at 4ohms)

Powering Mids in doors: T400-2 (120x2 at 4ohms)

Powering Subs: T1500-1bd (1000x1 at 2ohms)

Could run the T1500-1bd at 1500x1 at 1ohm and pick up the Rockford Fosgate T110D4's. But thought it'd keep the amp cooler running a 2ohm load to it instead and not worry about overpowering the subs.

I'm wide open to comments and suggestions on this setup. I haven't had any real experience with a multi amp setup and currently reading up on eq's.

Thanks in advance!

Louisiana_CRX - Here's the link to the new RF mini amps. They're the Power amps in the middle.

acold7dusta - 3 way setup? Thats what I have in my planned install. Only with 6.5" in kicks, tweets in the pillars (prolly wired out of phase) 8" midbass in the doors and 2 10" subs in the back. As for the tweets, I would rather have 'em in the kicks but there'd just be too much stuff in the way to block the sound from them.

evan - Running it active? Sorry. Still pretty new to all of this and trying to learn by reading as much as possible. But if you mean by running it active by using an electronic crossover, I was planning on using the built in ones in the amps.

Below is a pic of what I have in mind.

Thanks for all your inputs!

Anyone else care to throw in their 2 cents? I would love to hear the opinions of the board.

Yup, that's all I meant. Doesn't really matter where the processing comes from, as long as it allows you to control which speakers play what frequencies.
