i was one my way to work today and all of a sudden my amp shut off. i thought it was hot so i kept it off till i got to work. got to work, still nothing so i just checked and made sure everything was tight and then i found out my fuse holder and power wire was loose, so i tighten it up. still nothing. but my amp shows that its getting power but no sound is coming out of it. i checked my subs and they read 3.7 ohms on each voicecoil so i assumed that my subs were good. what could possibly be the problem??? could it be my subs? or my amp just took a $hit on me? i bought the subs about a month ago so i dont think its that. anyone with any advice on how to see if my amp is bad just let me kno thanks

could be RCA cables or preamp outputs on HU.. most likely you have a bad amplifier.. borrow a tone generator or something to hook into the preamp inputs to rul out the source being the problem..
