Planet Audio 2500D in Protection mode help!

Today I put in my Planet Audio 2500d. Right below the power light there is a Protection light that stays lit on the amp. Can someone throw me any ideas why this light is on and what to check. Thanks alot Adam

remove the subs wiring, see if they shorted

I will take a look but I just had an Orion1200d running to it not to long ago, it was fine then.
