It wasn't even about VW Bugs. Learn to comprehend what you're reading before popping off. That's all you do in here. Pop in and pop off.
You fail to see that doesn't matter because you have the education of a 4 year old. What matters is that you were being a dumb fuck, and that's what I point out to laugh at.

LT-1 is not that strong of an engine. I had one in my '96 Z-28 and trust me I had to do a LOT to it in order to get it stronger and up over 500hp. There is a reason why Chevy went to the LS1 back in '98 to 2002 in the Camaro and Firebirds. Ten times stronger, a lot more mods from the get go and nowhere near the issues with them from factory.

Donks are popular in South Texas. $10,000 rims on a $2,000 car. It has an LT-1 in it.
That's not a donk. That's a box Chevy and LT1s are trash by today's standards.

My buddy is doing a frameup on a 57 stepside. Has an LS and 4L60E out of an Envoy going in it. I'll post some picks later. Watching the truck race right meow.

I don’t think this guy was looking for over 500 horsepower. They put the LT-1's in Camaro's, Corvettes, and the Impala SS for a reason. They were good engines until the mid to late 90's. The LT-1 was a big upgrade from what was in this car originally. I never stated that the engine was a STRONG engine. I simply stated that he has an LT-1 in it.

Agreed the LT-1 wasn't all that great when it came out. Chevy knew they messed up with that one. Not as bad as the 3.8 blow'em up engines in the G-Bodies back in the '80s but it was bad enough that within a year they were already designing the LS1. 3rd cousin of mine was the Service Rep for Chevy for every Northern Illinois Chevy Dealership. Was funny whenever I would walk in I was treated like I was the owner because all it took was one word from us and that dealer got an ass chewing, lol.
