What is he using for gears in the rear diff?
It's an 8.8" limited slip rear out of an Explorer with 3.73 gears that's been narrowed four inches.

So there's this 1966 Corvette for sale. No motor or trans. Seller wants $20,000 firm. Swears it's an original 396/4 speed car. Funny thing is... The 1966 Corvette was never built with a 396. The 65 was but Chevy put the 427 in the 66. I swear shit like this never ceases to amaze me. Always some dumbass, somewhere, running his mouth about shit he knows nothing about.

I wouldn't buy it because it's not a big block car and it's been cut up so bad the repairs wouldn't be worth it. Look at the rear quarter panels for example. If it was a true big block four speed car with a nice solid stock body then it would almost be worth it.

Or, go electric and watch the purists ridicule you.
I think that would be so f*cking sick to be honest. People are always swapping corvette chassis and interiors into older model cars. Why not take a Tesla drivetrain, tech, and interior and swap into an older model car. Great idea!

I would love to see Chevy build this. Doubt it will for the same reasons the split window design was 1963 only, safety regulations.

Holy fuck. A 1963 ZO6 Corvette, one of only 199 built, was recently rescued. It was ditched in a salvage yard in 1971 with only 59,000 miles. Insane! This car is worth millions
