These are overpriced, and will sound harsh to the ears. There are components that have a much "smoother" sound.

Kenwood amp, generally overrated in terms of power. I wouldn't buy.

In trunk cars, most people tend to do a ported box in the trunk, and take out the rear speakers in the rear deck, that way the sound from the trunk can come into the cabin. Sometimes people put the port through the openings in the rear deck, for the same effect, even louder.

I'd buy it, but you don't have a need for it if you leave speakers out of the rear deck. It is a good price for the power and is CEA compliant, FWIW.

Meh, can do way better for the same amount of money. You're paying for the name on these.

350 watts each isn't much power, again, you can do much better.
For your sub stage, I'd recommend two D4 coil subs and an amp that is 1 ohm stable for more power.
Getting it professionally hooked up. Im curious as to if it would sound great. 2 tweets up front and 2 tweets in back.
There's nothing really wrong with the stuff you were looking at, but Crutchfield's prices **** and you can get more impressive equipment for the same or less money. It would be great if I could save some money, but i set the 3000$ as car audio investment so it wouldnt be a problem to spend it all. I will look at the classifieds real quick and repost.
that kenwood does rated power.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
you forgotz deadeningI got you a nice system right here:Alpine Type-X 12s ~$1000
A good 2kw watt amp to power them both ~100-200?
Nice set of Re XXX comps, with a nice 4ch amp. Not sure of the price on those.
A battery or two to prevent voltage drop. ~$400
Nice Alpine HU ~$250
There is your mix of SQ and SPL. Type Xs sound good and can get really loud.
And don't buy from Crutchfield, they overcharge like hell. The sub that I got cost me 196.90 shipped. At Crutchfield, it would have been $349.99 plus shipping. Fuck that.
And Incriminator Audio and Fi FTMFW. You could spend about 1k on a Warden 15 and about 6-700 on the electrical + amp to match it. You would then have roughly 1.4k to spend on comps, an amp, and a hu.
