Placement of line Driver

hi Guys

I have a JCV-kd-X40 head unit one RCA out into a Cadence CE-773 EQ

3 outputs from the EQ front and Rear runs to my mids amp, and sub runs to my mono amp.

My question is would I be able to add a line driver like Audio Control 6XS after the EQ but before the amps ?

I understand the point of the line driver but if I condem my EQ an use the line driver in its place how would I fine tune the frequencies of the songs while playing ?

Thanks for your advice.

massive audio NX4 for mids and highs

hifonics GLS1400.1D for bass

Take another look at the specs on the CEQ-773. It has 7V outputs. I'm not sure you really know what a line driver is for, as it's used in many systems that don't need one. Skip the line driver.

Like trumpet said, 7v is pretty substantial for output voltage. Even the cleanest glass will begin to look dirty if you stack enough pieces of it together and look through it. The fewer pieces of gear, the better. Lower noise floor, less distortion, etc...
