pioneers ground??

At work i had to replace a pioneer 5000UB cause of the RCAs ground went bad and you could hear mad motor nosie and the same thing happened to my pioneer6800mp.... does any one kno a sure way to stop it

wrap bare wire around the preouts and ground them to a screw on the back of the unit.

There's a pic of it on here somewhere. Too lazy to look. might be in the ground loop fixes section/

how ****ing hard is it to ground your rca's?

i mean its pioneer they needa fix that shit.

well they must have just fixed it, cause i brought 1 back in september and had to ground my rcas

I doubt that, I bought a 600UB about 2 or 3 months ago, and it didnt have it at first, then it happen all of a sudden. But I cant blame Pioneer, it was my fault, quick install, and a wire got loose and grounded itself. But any other HU would have been fine, its just a very weak point on the Pioneers. The wire around the RCAs works wonders though, fix the prob easly.

is there a way that you put a better ground on the motherbored.... i mean its just solder so is there something you can do with that rather doin the wire round your RCAs

i think an onboard fuse burns out and that fuse grounds the rca's... i read it somewhere awhile back, but its a fuse thats like .123354 of 1 amp or something... the best route is just wrap the wire around or throw it away and get something more reliable... my pioneer just shit on me today, and its going bye-bye.

Funny thing is I've been running Pioneer decks for more than 15 years now (including cassette decks) and haven't had ANY pre out issues. Not only that MOST of my friends run Pioneer and don't have problems either. Can't understand what is going on with all these units.

Dead on the money. None of my Pioneer's have had the "pico" ground issue.
