Pioneer vs mach5

I know you hate thes kind of post but I cant find enething out on this sub I have a 12" Premier 3002 SPL in a 2 cf box at 35 hz and wont to know if a mach5audio MJ-18 in a 2.8 cu. ft Sealed box will be about the same I wont to try a 18in sub and this one is $100 shiped so I cant beet that the 3002 has 1000 Watts

going to it and the mj-18 will have about 500 because it has a Impedance of 8 Ohms this is going in the trunk of a 2000 mustang

Not that I'm trying to sway your judgement or anything, but the MJ-18 is also available in a 4 Ohm version now.

im getting pioneer in a month and havent heard a bad word against them. Every review has been great as long as you get them in a box around 32ish hz then you should be good.(3004spl)

That post was hard to read but i thought i saw somethin about an 18" sub and 2.8 cu feet. Isnt that a lil small even sealed for an 18 incher?

3002SPL all the way buddy. Tune a bit lower than that, you won't regret it.

something about that 18 just doesn't sit right with me.

i'd much rather have the MAW-12 or 15

i borrowed the similar looking, but much crappier TS-W306C/DVC for a while, but they sucked!

but i do like the looks of those 3002/30004's. what are they going for online? pretty good power handling.

From a driver size standpoint, there really is no comparison. Not just with the MJ-18 but *any* 18" you want to throw at that 12. She'll sweep more air than the 12" with less power, and that's what its all about...
