Well, when i went from the 880 prs to the 9887, it was like night and day to me. Alpine had a much warmer sound to it, and it actually brang some clarity, IMO.

cda-9886 vs. deh-700bt I just wonder how well the cda-9886 2 band eq will

stack upto the 3 band of the pioneer

in this case i like the pioneer. i have used alot of pioneers most of them have been ok.

i agree with 1mtx but with the 9886 u can get the IMPRINT down the road for more tuning.

If your get bored and are always upgrading stuff....u want to think ahead so your not taking a step back from the beginning.

I'm never gonna upgrade, but I've always wanted to try an alpine deck but whats irking me is the lack of features built in to the ones in my price range of $300 or less. what I don't know and couldn't tell when I listened to both of them was why one was better or worse than the other
