power antenna

i have a deh-6000ub pioneer,is there anything i can hook it up to so it gos up only when the tuner is on?

i tried a few but it goes on instantly with cd and everything else.

is there a blue wire and a blue w/ white stripe?

if so, the solid blue is remote, and the stripe is antenna IIRC. that could be backwards

You hooked it up to the amp remote power on you want the power antenna which should be just blue

right, try either one, if they both go up and stay up when the radio is on then you are SOL, some radios are like this

theres only one blue one and its white and blue its this.
