scott owens had 13 of these in his truck and did a 182 i belive off 256,000Watt, 52 pioneer premier amps if im correct. on 3 ohio genorator 300 or 350 amp alts.

and last i knew Kyle Witherspoon had 2 of the 15's of ~125,000 watts and did a 178.something.

i have one of the 15's on an audiopipe AP30001 i just put it in an 8 net cube box wednsday so ill report back tommorow afternoon on what i hit on the TL tommorow at comp. i did some testing this morning with 2 5 farad caps and the trunk hole uncovered and did a 143.4dB, i went home and MDF'd and duct taped the opening closed and put closed off the space on either side of the box , plus taped the inside of the windows up(and bypassed the friggan caps) im hoping to see a 145+ tommorow and by the end of the season have a new amp in that can feed the sub 4K-8K and see if a 150 is in the beast.

I have 4 lnib 3 were used for about a week 1 is brand new $500 obo each +shipping I was the one that trade with him. They sell for about $600 new retail is $1000 on them.

these subs currently hold the world record for highest db. if i am not mistaken...

i just brought my 1st dd 9518g. how do the pioneers rate against the dd 9518g?

I have not used a DD yet I was going to but never got one.. If you got a DD all carbon fiber then I would say if the dd is a 10 the pioneer is a high 8 or 9 next to it. The nice thing about dd is you can recone them not sure about Pioneers with the 2 spiders and never blown one so not sure how much it would be to recone that beast..

i figured that there are not many pictures of these subs, plus not to many people run them., so here they are.....

dual 2 ohm, 2500watts rms....6000max...

titanium voice coil, ceramic coated voice coil wire., 8ga speaker wires...these things are beasts....

good for music or spl....at least that what the manual says....lol....retro said they sound very good on music too...
