Are these subs truely better than the L7 12? I plan on changing but still on the iff side. Are the new hcca's even better???

i know a guy that has two of the orion hcca 12.2's there ***** loud, he has really pushed them to throwing 4000w to each of em, he hit 151.1 legal not sure what amps he has but impressive subs from what ive seen
