Anyone check out the new App radio from pioneer? Personally, I love the idea. This will be my first time trying out a touchscreen radio and I really like the simplicity.. I pretty much listen to AM/FM, my Ipod, And pandora so this thing really appeals to me. Price is pretty awesome as well..

There is one pretty huge drawback- The H/U doesnt have a typical RCA Preamp output, only one line level output... I know this is a cost saving measure, but dang what a bad place to cut cost.

I know I can use a line level converter, but do the cheap ones sound okay? If I gotta spend 100 bucks on a converter to get decent SQ ill just buy a more expensive unit and skip a step.. Im going to be running 2 amps: a 2 Channel for my mids and a mono for my sub. Is there a cost effective converter or am I just asking for dissapointment going this route?

look at the 2channel it prolly has pass throughs so you can just run and rca from it to the sub amp
