Pioneer Rev or Alpine type R?

The type R's can't even begin to compare to the rev series.IMO the type R's sounded way too muddy and mushy for the type of music I mostly listen to.Their type s coaxials are great but the R's just ****.

I have type S coaxils, imo, they are way down the road from the type Rs. they distort at pretty average volumes (for me) and the bass is not even near to the type Rs. The R's are more acoustical then the S's.

But going back to the original post, did you get those revs?

my top choice in coaxials. refer to my other posts about the revs, i always refer to the rev coaxials. look in this thread, i mentioned them.

no way, they physically cant hang with the revs. they just cant do it, the revs go above and beyond the r's without distortion. plus, i think anyway, that the revs sound better.

My vote goes to the REVs. I wasn't too impressed with my type-r's, harsh tweet and the midbass was kinda muddy.
