Pioneer return speed?

Has anyone returned anything directly to pioneer?

I just was wondering about how long I should expect to be without a HU

If you sent it in for repairs, it'll most likely be 4-6 weeks...

Well a little update..

I figured the HU was bad but i got it all working with the GMOS harness and then i started to mount it and of course used the wrong screws since i was so excited and it was like 3 AM and i screwed into something on the inside...

The buttons still work on my touchscreen but there is no display, or lights on the side of it (avh-p3200dvd)

I did not buy it from an authorized dealer so which way should i go with it? to buy.com or to Pioneer?

Well most stores have a you-break-it-you-buy-it type of thing, especially online stores. Tell buy.com that it's defective or something and see if they buy it.

thats what i was thinking.. a piece was rattling around afterwards so i mean it sounds reasonable..

If i sent it to Pioneer would they just charge me for it since it wasnt from an authorized dealer?

Quick search and it seems like buy.com IS an authorized Pioneer dealer

Are you sure? The link says home audio.. When I was on the site it gav me a few choices for like car or home audio and something else
