Pioneer Premier or kicker L7

OK i just ordered my kx1200.1 amp to power two kicker L7's but this guy at school told me he has 3 pioneer premier subs, he didnt tell me his amp, but is it possible for his system to outbump mine? and are premiers better than L7s?

also has anyone ever heard two 12" L7's being powered by the kx1200.1, and if so can it be heard from blocks away?

anything is possible. besides you didnt list the sizes of either sub kicker or pioneer and you dont know his amp. how could we possibly know if he can outbump you. why dont you build a stereo that makes you happy and f--k everyone else?

he has more piotential for SQ, but it all depends on the install. I think you have more potential for SPL but again depends on install.

There are plenty of setups that will 'outbump' mine. There are plenty of setups that are prettier than mine. But - for my wants/needs/budget my gear does exactly what I wanted out of it - and as it was me and no one else paying for it/installing/tweaking it that's what mattered.

That 1200.1 will work fine for a pair of 12" L7s. Wire them to a 1 ohm load, set your gains properly, and enjoy!

Aren't the premiers pretty cheap too? What are they like, the Type R of Pioneer?
