pioneer premier or id ctx65cs

i was wondering if the ts-c720prs is worth the extra 150 compared to the ts-d720c

or should i just go with the id ctx65cs?

i plan on only running the fronts since i have a 2 door

ill be running it to a rf p400-2

it also has to compete with my jl 1000/1 and w7 but i dont turn it all the way up

im also open to other suggestions

mahalo

thanks for the input

ive read alot of good things about the id's

but then again ive read alot of good things about the pioneers too

how much rms are you running them at?

and do they sound clear at high levels?

placement is more of where you want the mids or tweeters

Aiming is aiming the mids & tweeters.

if i where you i would do a basic install of the mids, for the tweeters before you install them, try next to mids, doors, sails, pillars.

you will find a the spot that sounds right to you ears.

My image dynamics are seeing 200 watts from a phoenix gold 200.2 and I have the crossover as low as it will go 40hz and I can turn my head unit up to 60 and they still don't bottom out. They can take a lot of power just so you know.

^^^you have your ID's crossed over @40hz, interesing!

is that on your amp or deck??

So i guess your amp is around 100-x2@4ohms!

and your comps rms is 150@4ohms on a passive xover!

so you are under powering them i guess?

with 2-12's dd & a AQ2200d amp, wouldnt your bass over power your comps?

So my question is-how would you know if your mids where bottoming out/clipping,or distorting with your subs over powering your comps????????????????????

i wish i could hear all of them and compare but no ones sell id's on oahu //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

ive heard the c720prs's before and they sound good but i dont wanna pay 290

if i can get the same or better for 140.

the id's are gonna be 220 shipped. (hate shipping to hawaii)

im leaning toward the id's but i havent heard them and the d720c for 140 sounds pretty **** good

wow 200 watts rms a side? That is impressive for comps that are rated at 100 watt rms.
