pioneer premier 550 power probs

Okay, so this sucks.

I have the DEH-550MP, and I was rockin out yesterday, and I turned it up (well, quite a bit louder than I usually do...) and *BAM*, the thing shut off. No lights. No clock. Can't eject my cd. Grr.

Alright, so I have it powering all 4 of my speakers. No Amp or anything. Im cheap.

Anyway, I thought that maybe I blew a fuse, so I pulled it out of the dash, except that... well, there WAS no fuse in the back of it.

I checked the car fuses in the dash and the under hood box, but they were both fine.

Im so confused. How can there not even be a fuse in the HU? I thought maybe it blew and got shot out. Is that even possible? I went to radioshack, but they didn't have the right size fuses.

Im a novice with audio equiptment, so I could use any and all help. Lucky, Its still under warranty so if I fried it im okay, but im just confused as to what even happened.

no fuse in back of the deck even where you take out the wiring harness? if anything you just blew the whole hu

nope. theres a spot for a 10A fuse, but nothing in it. I can't believe that pioneer would ship em without fuses. thats why I figured maybe it blew out or something.

grr. ill be so pissed if I blew the whole thing.

try sticking one in there, both of my pioneers have had fuses in there, maybe it blew out of it hahaahaha, doubtful, but who knows, so i'd give that a shot. And also make sure you hit the power button because they won't turn on automatically after they are ocmpletely powerd off.
