Pioneer Premier 3004/3002SPL

ay I know a bunch of people have these babies set up.. I gotta 3002spl on delivery from IKES:crazy: UND... be here in a few days..

anyway I wanna know what you have it set up with in terms of a ported enclosure which is what I plan on making for it.. Specs mention to make something between .85-1.75cft. but I'd like to know what anyone has set up..

pics are sweet but datas fine.. I'm trying to get a feel for what would sound best

Not sure as to how the 2000SPL lines up to the 3004SPL, but I have mine in a 1.5 cu.ft. per chamber box, tuned to around 48hz. It sounds quite nice as a daily driver (yes I am aware it is tuned much higher than most boxes around here), and gets plently loud for my tastes.

I have a pair of the 2000 SPLs in a 6 cf box tuned to 36 hertz

sorry, forgot to add that it sounds pretty good but next time I would tune it lower.

jcivichb's subs beat like a mofo, you should watch his video....it will amaze you , i have a 2504spl the 10inch version of the 3004, havent really touched it much

yea that is sick.. that box is ported im guessing right? I'm thinking i might afford 2cu ft. for one 3002.. Gonna be giving it like 900W and tune it to 33 or so

Buddy of mine has a 4 cf box and forget what it is tuned to in an older bronco running 2 of the 3004 off my older MMats amp. Thing does mid 140's off like 700 rms. Is one of the cleaner systems I have heard. Surprised the hell out of me. Great subs and sound good. Wish I would have gotten those over my type R's.

i ebayed mine for i beleive 94 dollars a peice, but shipping was overpriced cuz of the general low price, i ended up with the pair for like 280 ish

hey so now that I'm in the clear, what did ikes:eyebrow: und do to you? I got my sub today but haven't actually tested it but it does appear to be in brand new condition at least

i have the dual 2ohm model, running it in 1.7cubes @27Hz right now, it's an awesome sub. hits the low's awesome in the box i have it in, but id reccomend atleast a 32Hz tuning(somewhere from 32-36) great sub though. im very pleased with mine.

good shit.. how much power you give it? I have a fosgate 801s Punch amp and probably does like 900RMS @ 4 ohms
