On my 860MP, it has a feature where you can select the seating arrangement for best sound, choices are

front left

front right

front seats

all seats

off

I currently have it set to front left, so it sounds the best to me, the driver. Is there any danger in using this feature, as there is with bass boost, etc, or is it okay to use?

On mine i have the same thing, I think its perfectly fine. I just notice that it gets a little louder to where you set it. I put that same radio in my friends blazer, unamped speakers, and there is a drastic difference in output from alll speakers, it gets louder where you set ti to, but also a lot more distortion.
