both are good, but i think pioneer edges out in the end.
i have the pioneer avh-5700 touch screen and i love it.
one of the best things about pioneer's higher end lines is that they seem to just keep making add-ons for them.
like on mine i have XM radio, sirius radio, navigation unit add on, an ipod adapter.
and there is a ton of new stuff for it that i want to get like they have a digital surround sound processor you can add on that has time alignment, dolby 5.1 it even has a cool bluetooth add on that lets you hook the bluetooth adapter to the rear of the headunit hidden away and control contacts dialling and other stuff right from the touchscreen, also has a vehihcale dynamics processor add on that can gicve you vital stat's on your car (tach, speed and other cool stuff), rear camera, and a few other A/V things
and even the newer stuff that they make for the avic line is backwards compatiable with the avh series units, so every time a new cool add on comes out you dont have to go out and buy a new H/U just to get the new options, whihc is a plus, kinda like the play station, they still allow you to play the older games on the newer stuff, thats a big selling point that your stuff wont be useless for hte new stuff, and it shows that they stand behind there stuff as they keep making new stuff for there old H/U's
im planning on getting the digital sound processor since it has optical input and the avh-5700 has a optical output, and i already have the center channel speaker so ill be in for a nice treat when i play movies in the car, then i'm gonna get headrest monitors for the rear passengers, so they can play play station 2 that i have in there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
and then im gonna add a carputer and have mobile internet, I just got the cingular blackjack with 3G technology where i can tether it to the carputer and use it as a modem. when i tethered the blackjack up to my laptop to test the speed i was able to get download speeds a little over 1.2meg a second, and a little under 450kb upload speed, so its basically a portable DSl line in my car

cant wait to get it all ready to go
