Pioneer KEH-P8600R

Dear All,

I have a Pioneer KEH-P8600R Head Unit and I have noticed that the head unit's display has faded away, and practically no information can be read during the day.

Did anyone of you experience this fact on his/her Pioneer !? If so what did you do ?! I am trying to avoid changing (replacing) the unit for the time being !!

in all seriousness, fixing it will not be worth the price... shop for an used cd player at least...
