Pioneer GM5000-T?

I bought this amp from my freind for 50$ and was wondering what you guys think of it? Anyone ever use it? Im debating on whether to sell it and upgrade to a stronger amp.

I have it pushing (2) 12" RF subs(model unknown). Im guessing there around 300wrms. There in a bandpass box with 4 huge aero ports. That brings in another question, should I throw the subs in a sealed box?

Sounds decent. The bass sounds clear, the only thing is I get alot of bass on the inside of the car, but I turn it ALL the way up and it doesnt even slightly rattle the trunk,weird?

Another thing, I have to turn up the volume to max so the bass hits hard, is this normal for a small watt system? Theres no bass at lower volume settings.
