500 @ 4 ohms

Im looking for an amp that puts out around 500 @ 4 ohms and the amp needs to be bridgeable to 1 channel. Also looking for something with a length of 16 inches or less.

Kicker zx450.2 does 450 @ 4 ohms bridged and is 16.75"... I'm sure its underrated and will do 500 watts.

I need some more ideas the Jl 500.1 looks good and i might have to end up going with that but im still looking for something cheaper.

What do you guys think of this amp i've never heard of Soundstream before but....

240x2 @ 4 ohms...... so does if i wire to svc 8 ohm subs in parallel and wire it to one channel on the amp it will be 480 x 1 @ 4 ohms. Correct?

I would like to know someones opinion on soundstream amps. I realize that they probably aren't very good but i don't know since i've never heard any info on them.

yes that is correct but u would still have 240 on each sub....why are u going with svc 8 ohms? smthing from the home theater?

and soundstream is an ok brand, focused more on spl gear then anything else

Alright thanks for your opinion actually its one of the mtx thunderform enclosures.

It says they're 8 ohm woofers which really surprised me.

His amp just died on him and im looking to get a new one for him for christmas.
