Pioneer GM line vs. Hifonics Brutus

Building a setup for my friend and narrowed it down between two budget amps, the pioneer gm-d9601 (about 1200w @1 ohm) vs the brutus 1100.1

I'm thinking the pioneer will have slightly cleaner power but i'm not too sure. Amp has to be under $180 and he's not really interested in used, also no subs have selected yet as i'm going to work around the amp.

If its between those two, Id pick the hifonics.

I'd go with the Hifonics. I love my brx1600.1D
