Pioneer eL display properties- HELP!

I installed a Pioneer Premier HU last night with the eL display. I lke it, but the screensaver mode switches from blue-on-black to blac-on-blue every 30 seconds or so. I like the blue-on-black.

Is there a way to make the display STAY in the blue-on-black mode? Can I turn off the screensaver mode? (I assume that that is what makes it switch.)

Its just in demo mode, answer is posted above. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Its not demo mode, its reverse mode. Its purpose is to prevent burn in as stated above. You can turn it off but unless you're not planning on keeping the deck for very long I would leave it on.

I can switch displays to a motion display from time to time, to prevent this, right? I have it n the display that is just the clock and station/track information.

All of the "motion" screensavers are annoying- particularly in reverse mode at night. I specifically asked on this forum and several others about the longevity of these displays before I bought it and noone pointed out any potential pitfalls. Interesting how I hear about it NOW...

Anyway- the "5" button is the one that changed the display. Thanks for the help. Maybe I can just use that option at night when I am driving.

Don- the Hertz came in. I hope to install them this weekend, but I have some chores to do around the house...

So what model is this ??

The switching colors is reverse mode I think. I looked at the manual for your cdplayer but cant find out how to turn it off either.
