9855's have an output cord on the back of the hu specifically for the KCA-420i..thats the ipod right?

if its an 06 or newer apline..you can get the $30 cord at bestbuy and save yourself $70 on buying the whole interface..the cord is like CDE-422i or something like that

if its an 05 or lower you need the interface
