Well today I upgraded from the 6700mp to the 8600mp. Going from 2.2v pre-outs

to 4.v made a bigger difrence than I thought it would. Had to re-adjust my gains on my amps. The 6700mp did me good for a while, never any problems and purchased the XM satelite for it Thats why I stayed with Pioneer since I had the XM reciever for it. The 8600mp is impressive. Great sound, lots of audio features and the multi-color display looks great. Just thought I would share the info on it in case someone was thinking on getting one. Great HU, money well spent. Later.....

Yes sir, it was. I can't believe the diffrence. I have been out messing around with it tweaking it here and there. And it sounds like a whole new system. It's always great when you do an upgrade on your system and everything actually works out smoothly. And it sounds better than you have expected. I know it is'nt the best HU out there but man it dang sure made a massive improvement. Very pleased indeed. Later...
