pioneer cd changer need help

i just installed my pioneer head unit into my skyline and also put in the pioneer changer, grounded everything and connected the pbus cables but the changer isnt coming on.

THe deck wont source to it and the magazine wont come out.

Does anyone know if the changer has to be connected to a deck to come in and out or could it just be powered ?

Just wanna find out if its possibly the cables or something. Ive hooked up the powercable to the always on yellow wire.

Any info is good.
