Pioneer buttons not working correctly (AVH-2330NEX)

I recently had some work done at the Toyota dealer on my car. Nothing major or even electrical(struts replaced, oil change, full detailing). When I picked up the car the buttons on the stereo were not working properly. The touchscreen buttons all work fine, but the volume buttons do not control the volume but cause the eject screen to come up. When pressing either the application screen button, the top menu screen button or the menu bar only the menu bar comes up. Anyone have any idea what caused this and how to fix it?
