Hey All I Just Got My 9800 Bt.i Installed It Myself -very Straight Forward Install.

I Set My Motorola E815 Cell Phone Up With It.

Got It Working Great...except- I Cannot Get My Cell Phone Book Info To Transfer To The Deck Like It Is Supposed To?

Everytime I Try To Retrieve It From The Phone Using The Deck Like The Manual Says The Bluetooth Shuts Off On My Phone Breaking The Link??

Also...i Was Hoping That Being Bluetooth,i Did Not Have To Re-link From My Phone To The Deck After I Shut My Ignition Off Every Time.kinda A Pain As I Was Hoping That Once My Phone Was Close Enough It Would Do It Automatically???

Can Anyone Educate Me??

Best thing is to contact Pioneer, or a shop that is a dealer for them.

They should know the products they sell.

well, my 98 neon r/t got boosted right from in front of my house in late january. luckily they caught the scum drivin it around 3 days later, but column was trashed,deck,amp and sub.. u guessed it gone.

i replaced it all including a new premier 680 which is a sweet deck also.but ever since i registered it online and then seen the bluetooth deck i 've had wood.

i'm here in windsor ontario canada a stones throw away from detroit.

best buy here in windsor had the deck and it was.........ready???.....this is canadian money also........6 and a half.

i call bullshit that you bought it at best buy. if you had, then the customer who wanted one friday would have had one shipped to the south austin store but the best buy computer system showed 0 at any store.

well if you had the deck with the manual in front of you would you ask the question he asked.

As far as the Bluetooth goes, I have a couple suggestions. One, look on your phone and see if there is something in the Bluetooth menu that allows you to tell your phone what devices you want to allow to connect to your phone. Sometimes certain phones will only automatically connect to a Bluetooth device if you tell it that you want this device to always be allowed (or something like that). Also, the reason that your telephone books aren't linking up may be that all of your numbers are stored on the phone memory rather than your SIM card. You may or may not have a SIM card, depending on your carrier, but if you do that is probably your issue. Its different on different phones but basically you need to find the SIM card menu on your phone and then transfer all of your numbers from phone memory to SIM card memory. Good luck, hopefully that helps.

On that phone with verizon the sim card is an option. It's got a built in memory that comes standard with mine, and I can add a card later if desired.

FIRST OFF, I WILL GO TAKE PICS OF THE DECK IN MY CAR AND WILL PUT A COPY OF MY BILL FROM BEST BUY IN MY NEXT POST. THEN YOU CAN COPY THE BILL AND STICK IT UP YOUR $*% BUMPIN!! I HAVN'T LOOKED YET BUT CHECK OUT bestbuy.ca THE CANADIAN SITE.

I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S ON THE CANADIAN SITE OR NOT.

SECOND,MY PHONE HAS NO SIM BUT IT DOES HAVE AN EXTERNAL MEMORY CARD.I WILL LOOK INTO THE CHANCE OF MOVING THE NUMBERS TO THE EXTERNAL CARD NOT THE PHONES STORAGE.

I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH PIONEER CANADA AND THE DECK IS SO NEW THE SERVICE GUYS ARE CLUELESS SO I AM WAITING TO HERE FROM A TECH.
