Ok, i hear a lot about the Pioneer P880... the ? i have is... is this the best made by pioneer right now? im looking at under the 450$ range. is this better than the 9860?

It's the best SQ deck under the P9 or ODR decks Pioneer offers. It's probably the best bang for the buck on the market right now as well.

as far as performance, no it isn't but it's good.

Youd find a lot of answers with a simple search, including the differences between the two units you mentioned.
