Pioneer 7800 still worth buying adapters?

I have been craving to have USB and blue tooth in my head unit lately but don't know what to do. I love my pioneer 7800 but it is also my first hu so i don't have much experience with different brands. Do you think this unit is still worth buying extras for like the USB adapter and blue tooth module?

if you want to upgrade to a better pioneer in the future the pieces you buy for this one should most likely work on the future model.

i bought several pieces for my 7800 when i had it, and now use them with my 880.
