pioneer 4800 broke????

on my pioneer 4800 it wont turn on unless the red and yellow wires are together and it wont keep my settings.

why could this be

i had to do that on mine for some reason as well, but it keeps all my settings just fine

Is it possible the switched power in your vehicle is blown/shorted? Ya check all the radio fuses?

yes all the fuses checked i even put it in a different car and still the same thing
