Pioneer 3200DVD wont play video

Manual says vehicle has to be in park with parking brake on before you can play movies/videos but I know there's a way to bypass this with a toggle switch but I do not want to use the switch . Can someone tell me another way I can watch videos while I am driving? Please, this is too annoying because I know it can be done !!
