So, i'm considering building a pair of comps. through all the feedback so many enthusiasts have offered I'm looking this Setup for my 03 land cruiser:
Front Stage
Silver Flute W17RC38
Peerless XT25SC90-04
Dayton Audio XO2W-2K 2-Way Crossover
Rear Fill
Silver flutes (as above) or crescendo pwx6
I've read the massive thread about sealing doors. I was planning to take these steps.
- Deflex power pads
- MDF Speaker rings w/clay
- Thin mdf/hard substrate to cover open access holes (Will not be using plexi, way too difficult to work with IMO)
- Rammat or similar to cover door and covered access holes.
Is this is solid plan for the components above or would you guy recommend building an small enclosure behind the mid bass drivers instead?
