Pictures of painted boxes

man i've been wanting to try a flared port maybe some day i just hate to waste a good piece of wood maybe practice on small ones
Waste wood? Dude it's like $25 for a SHEET of it;)

It doesn't seem hard to me. You need a table saw and make sure you set your depth and spacing correct. Once you make the cuts you just apply the clamps and bend(or just straight up mount it). Most people I see will apply a coat of FG resin afterwards. Their's ton's of writeups about it....

this is a project I never finished and now it is chipped up (dont rough house drunk around speakers)

I bought the hammered texture from krylon, i think i'm ust going to return it for some cheaper cans of flat black... FBI, you sure you used flat black? Looks kinda glossy...

Ok i remember i read it somewhere at sealing edge cuts of the mdf, so it wont soak up so much pain. I was 50/50 wood glue and water. i am right i tried searching but no luck
Sanding with a very high grit also help to stop the sponge effect of the cuts.

yeah 1/2" inch round over. I need to get a 3/4" but they are expensive. This will be my first attempt at a mirror piano black finish. I will post pics of the final product.
