i use lots of sanding and filler. How do you guys get the seams not to show up when painting them? Sorry i know it's a noob ?,I always use rhino liner so it hides them. But wanting to make a bad *** looking painted box. Here are some of my first boxes with heap from wal mart roll on rhino liner 45 a gallon does like 5 boxes
Bondo works fine.what product and brand of filler the regular wood filler or bondo?
I've been playing with some cutout designs like that. You could have easily made the rest of that look good....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifHere's one that I didn't really take any time on. The shitty stencil = boredom at the time after I took it out.

First off, nice box. Did you build that one yourself?
That's definatley a classy look. Would go well in a "clean look" show car. Does seem a bit impractical for a daily driver though as that would get scratched to hell in a matter of daysI've always been a fan of piano black...

Not mine, I don't have anywhere near the patience required //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Depends on what your going for. I usually always lay down base coats using spray paint. If it's an intricate painting something like latex works well, easy to work with, paint over and can provide some cool textured effects.ok so bondo huh. I am wanting to make a very clean box for my budds explorer. Plan on using just reg house paint rolled on maybe with some texture. Now i need to search to find out what to use i saw latex and another one at wal mart cant remember what it was. Might go with kilz as I've read good things about it. What do you guys use for paint?
Yeah, I had big plans for it, but got burnt out on it after some stuff went down.I've been playing with some cutout designs like that. You could have easily made the rest of that look good....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I can think of some great designs to complement that flare. I only wish I had tools to build that

Still one of my favorite looks
Sadly that's the case for me right now. I rushed to get my last box in and have yet to take it back out to dress it up.Yeah, I had big plans for it, but got burnt out on it after some stuff went down.
Most of my boxes are ***** now though as I tend to change alot.
