Pics of your amps mounted to your box.

I think I can answer this one. If you got cargo tie-downs like I do, simplist way is to hit up the hardware store and get a few long bolts (maybe less than a dollar each)that match the threads of the tie-down threads and drill a few holes on the bottom of the sub box, of course aligning it so it goes where you drilled, and then bolt down. But not too tight, bolt will actually go thru the MDF easily.
Use large face washer too. This way the head wont pull through.

i will have to check this one out. i just have that pesky spare tire in the way so im not sure if i can bolt through the sub box itself. maybe cut a sheet of mdf to fit the area , and bolt where i can then L-bracket the box to that sheet. would .5" mdf work for this (i already have a sheet) , or should i go for the .75"?

I dont see amps being mounted to a box bad either, I cant see it causing a problem either.

I would guess the box might be like least resonating thing in the whole trunk, they big reason I wouldnt do it is because if someone decides to steal your stuff its all together for them.
