i had 3 cvrs before and this sub in the current box sounds a ton better and louder than them..

with the wire in the vent, like i said before, i didnt wanna take the whole dash apart and havent had time. Its only been like that for a week, just got my iphone the other weekend. When i have time i will tkae the dash apart and run it under, near the cup holders.

i def need to carpet/paint the box. Was gonna do it before i put the sub in, but was to excited to get the shit running. I will eventually take it out and redo it.

eh redo ur box. do 4.5 cubes at 33hz with like 70" of port. itll be tons louder....

port could be bigger. wiring could be cleaner. the ipod cable through the vent is just rediculously bad. besides that it is fine.

Your ground wire (going into the amp) is too small. It is supposed to be AT LEAST the size of the power wire, if not larger.

Actually I think he is on to something here..... I "might" be able to tolerate slowed down hip-hop if all I heard was the bass... Then again, probably not.
