I am getting some better subs in the summer but I had these CVRs laying around and being a college student, I don't have a lot of money to throw around. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/redface.gif.62fdbfe1a101588a808c4cff71bcb942.gif So they'll work for now, they don't sound too bad.nice!!!!!!!!!!!
id try and slip some nicer subs in, not that the cvrs are junk, but thats just a nice box and all
nice deck too:veryhapp:
To find the contour of the wheelwell, I used a wire coathanger and shaped it to fit on the contour. Then I simply traced that onto the MDF. For the oval part, I drew everything out on the MDF by using circles using the yardstick and nail method. Then I just cut the center portion out and rounded the edge off with a router. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gifVery nice indeed.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif I have an explorer to and I want to build a similar enclosure and I have 2 question? How did you get the contour for the wheelwell to cut the wood so that it would fit all nice and snug? And how did you make the oval for the outer panel for the cut?thanks
Awhile back I did one with a really simmilar shape (bit bigger) in my 2000 Blazer...Very nice indeed.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif I have an explorer to and I want to build a similar enclosure and I have 2 question?
