(Pics) My Install (First Time Working With Wood)

Ok before I show some pictures I am gonna say this would be the first thing I have built for my car.

False Floor Still needs to be capped on the end as you can see and I will be getting (2) Alpine Type R's later on and building a box. For now I am satisfied.

How Would You Cap The End Of The Floor? I need to be able to access it if wires should come loose but I don't think they will. All my amp controlls are under the silver pieces on the amps.

Considering this is my first build I think its ok. There is somethings I would have done diffrently but again im a noob with wood building.

If you notice the amps are not exactly flush so I am gonna have to somehow change that but for a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am Trunk it looks good....Suprised me its actually kinda loud for a sealed eclosure..

i would turn the box around. usually it is a little louder in trunk cars that way.

I have been told rear firing is better but I get more rattles and the sound diffrence is not noticable enought....Trunk is already jumping and hoping around.

I would just wrap another panel in carpet and put it in the gap to cover it up.

Thats what I was thinking...I could glue a piece of would in to the bottom board let it dry and wrap it in carpet so the floor can still raise up..

you could install a small hinge or 2 and allow a slat of wood to swing up in the front there.
