Picking out best components for sub system?

Alright, I'm going to be getting an amp,some subs, a cap(20 farads or around there maybe?), wiring kit, etc for a system soon. I was thinking a Mono, D-Class Amp and 2 12's. I want big boom haha.

do you guys think that would be a good amp? for the price? or something else?

As for the subs, would something like these work:

If not, what do you think would be good subs for the system? I want something real good and capable.

good choice on the amp, i haven't heard the subs but for about the same price i would recommend getting some RE subs which would probably sound ALOT better but then again i haven't heard those subs so i can't tell you. As for the cap DON'T get it their pointless you would be much better off spending that money on a new alt... as for the comps, go to a local audio shop and listen to some comps, get the comps that sound best to you not what other people like

Also, what kind of HU do you plan on getting/have ?

We can help you find a little bit better gear. What kinda budget are you working with? How much room do you have (for box size)? And what type of sound are you looking for?

Thanks for the responses guys. I have a 1999 jeep grand cherokee, and i'm building a custom enclosure with plexiglass windows and such to store the amp/subs and etc.

The headunit I will be using is the Kenwood KVT-815 Mobile Touchscreen system. I mainly listen to rap music, so if that helps? As for price limit, I'd like to try and stay under 500 for the 2 subs if I can do that?

And also,instead of the cap should I get a second battery, hook it up to an isolator and let that power the amp?
