Picking new sub stage

but why would i chose one 15 over two 12s? just wondering

the actualy trunk height is much higher then that but i did max dem of where the box can just be built and put in im not trying to do it myself in the trunk

then you will never get the potential out of the trunk space. Do a single high powered 12 with one of the aq amplifiers. should be able to slide in just fine and get loud.

do a 14" high box and glass the cutout for a 15"

or if i wanted to do the one 15 again i could do a 34w X 16 h

you can also save area by using aero ports as well.

how would one 15 in a 5.2 cube box tuned to 37 hz sound...im doing desings on RE Audios caculator...and came up with that or should i do two 12s

yeah ive done most of the cutting...but the side bars...i think i may go ahead and cut those if i can find something powerful enough

i asked about an AQ 18 and he said i would only need about 5-6 cubes tuned to 38-40hz so if i can make the box about 18-19 inchs tall should i just do that instead of the two twelves

I think you would be fine if you were to do with the 2 hdc3 12....the space you have to work with would be just enough to port them using aero ports

I personally would go either way.....the 18 would be cheaper, and be more cone area, but then you are generally going to have to do a crx box style.

where as the 12s will give you a little bit more options for boxes
