240, rwd ftw and not sounding like a weedwacker/wet fart
yeahhh the RWD is a big point. however the KA24 motors arent that great for upgrade, id have to do a swap for true power. not terrible just 3k range for it. I got the guy down to 3500 for teh car..

240 no doubt. so much room to upgrade it too. the hatchbacks are nice looking tho. What are you looking for? Speed, reliability?
the 240s have the most potential, but will require the most money. the hatches are different but alike. the motor on the 91 EF is built extremely well, 260hp off motor. id need to purchase a starter and door hinge tho. but he'd take 3000 for the car. Im looking for my next car. lol. both.

#1 . And then I would pull all of the stupid **** off it.
yeah its not a bad car. its clean, and i like the swap style. offers a great power/torque ratio throughout.

Depends. If you are buying and using as is, then Civic #1 . If you have another $4-5k to put into it in mods after purchase, then I'd go for the 240. The 240's are garbage in stock form like that. Civic #1 is closest to being done though. #2 looks like it is better than it actually is, which is saying much cause it doesn't look very good.

Not true, you can still turbo the KA and make good power with it and a lot of torque from that extra little bit of displacement. Do you really wanna be like every ricer out there with a 240 and do a sr20det swap...cmon be more original.

Or you could swap in a LSx if you are really wanting to make some legit power.

None, be cause they all look like pieces of ****.
yeah.. i wish i had like 7-9k to spend. then id have myself a RHD s14 with a rb26t. i wouldnt mind that subby in your propic either.

ive heard of 1jz and 2jz swaps too. thatd be interesting. but in reailty im not that mechanical to mess with cross brand swaps.

It all comes down to what you are looking to do with the car.

Daily driver? Get something that is nice stock and you dont really have to touch.

second car to beat the **** out of? buy a old honda hatch, strip it, and build it up.

during the winter itd be a second car that id build. have an old van for winter.

im not looking for balls out fast. but something with a little fun and snap.

and any repairs i can do myself or have a friend help. thats no problem. just cost is
