Physical Size Of An Amp

I am looking 2 get 2 new good BRAND NAME amps to be used for my highs

but wattage is not as much of an issue as the physical size in which the amp will fit is. I had 2 clarion APA4360 amps for my highs each bridged into 2 channel mode 250x2 x 2 amps i have type X highs (ALPINE) but noone makes an amp that will in my spot. already fiberglassed and mounted (beautiful design) but these calrion amps **** BIG TIME after about 6months they cut out and this is the second set though that buying USED was the problem so I purchased 2 new ones and they cut off after cranking up to about 20 on my system. ALL ALPINE

i am thinkint it can't handle my 8 volt output on my ALPINE ERAG fiber optic unit.

so HELP anyone know of an AMP 4 channel or 2 channel TOTAL RMS wattage to be about 400 or 500 that will fit into a space no bigger than 13 inches by 8 inches?

the clarion was 12" by 6" that was AWESOME

and I loved the clarity of the clarions I don't want some cheap *** brand name I want a good high end brand name and money is NOT an issues. of at the car audio shops the idiots fresh out of high school don't know shit.

It probably won't meet your requirments as a "good high end brand name".

But you could look into the Lanzar Opti4x400d. Yes, a lot of Lanzar's amps are budget level, but the Opti series have always been legit.

It's 12.6" x 6.6 x 1.7 and 100x4 @ 4/180x4 @ 2.

Looks like they're getting hard to find though.

The other, more popular solution would be the alpine pdx4.150. It's about 8x10, and 150x4 @ 2.
